NZ Post/Aus Post Eparcel/Courier Select
The primary shipping option most customers will select is Courier Select which is a service NZ Post offers and feeds into the Australia Post Eparcel system/network.
What is Courier Select? - Courier Select is a service NZ Post offer that utilizes the Australia Post Eparcel service to deliver parcels shipped from New Zealand to Australian addresses in a couple of days as if New Zealand was just another state of Australia. Within 24-48 hours of us shipping your parcel in New Zealand with Courier Select, it is on a flight to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth. Upon arrival into Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth - the parcel is then immediately and without delay feed into the Australia Post Eparcel Standard network by Australia Post and delivered accordingly. The shipping labels we apply to the parcel is an Eparcel Standard labels. How Long does it take? - As noted above, within 24-48 hours of us shipping your parcel from New Zealand, it would have arrived in either Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth. The service also has a smoother and faster customs clearance process into Australia and moves virtually instantaneously through customs. NZ Post find that Courier Select parcels take 3.8 working days on average to deliver. It is possible, and we have seen parcels be delivered within 48 hours of us shipping them to Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne. This is by all accounts not a slow service and once we are back to daily service once Hamish is back in NZ full time – the speed at which parcels are delivered should be faster to most in Australian than when we had a warehouse in Australia and shipping with Australia from Brisbane.
Fedex Rates
Fedex rates will display as the alternative option, however these are only attractive for orders that exceed 22kg in weight total and are in off peak periods, which tend to be most times of year that are not November-March. If you are reading this in October, you need to be sorting out your order with Fedex now, that is over 22kg total, or understand you will need to order with Courier Select rates for the November-March peak period. These are more adhoc and massaged manually as we review them from time to time, as last minute rates with FedEx are.
Faulty, defect, or mis-shipped Items
If you have received the wrong product or faulty goods, contact us via email, within 5 days of receipt of your order. We will work with you to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. Expect to be asked to email through images of the problem or all the items you received, so preempting that and emailing the photos through from the outset will speed up the process. We do go through a process to identify what caused the error. Is is our discretion if we choose to reship or refund any faulty or mis-shipped product for you to add it again in your next order with us.
Exchanges
Due to the cost of shipping back to New Zealand, exchanges is not an option. Please order carefully knowing you cannot return it if you ordered wrong. Pick up the phone and call us if you are in doubt of what you are ordering.
