CLOSING DOWN

We are in the process of closing down and relocating the remaining stock to New Zealand to ship orders from New Zealand for the next couple of years as we continue our closing down period. When that comes to happen, we will update this page on that process. For the last remaining days we are still shipping within Australia - stock up today of what you need for the next 5-10 years from us for that to be at the closing down sale prices it is at on the website and can be shipped to you within Australia cheaper than it would be to ship from NZ in a month or two's time.

We pride ourselves on super speedy dispatch, and aim to ship the same day we receive payment, Mon-Fri. We do dispatch throughout the day so paying with paypal, or credit card via paypal prior to our cut off times, should see your order shipped the same day.

You can log into Your Account at any time to view the status of your order.
a- Orders are initially "Pending" when you place it,
b- they are updated to "Processing" upon receipt of payment,
c- they are then updated to "Processing - Printed" when we print out the paperwork to pick and subsequently ship your order,
d- and finally updated to "Complete" once they've been shipped and we have gone in and updated any tracking information that may be available.

Australia Post Services

All Australia Post shipping options are collected from us roughly 2.00pm (AEST) 3 days a week - Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. Some days we ship all orders out from 7am and finish dispatching all the orders early and others we start around 11am to have them all finished and out the door for 2pm on dispatch days.

 

Aramex Couriers

All Aramex Courier shipping options are collected from us ad hoc upon us loading a package on the Aramex platform and our local Aramex contractor is passing to pick them up. We don't have a daily pick up time arranged with Aramex and we process all orders with Australia Post deadlines in mind.

 

E-GO.com.au

E-go is an economy courier service, and one should not expect them to break any records. E-go have a minimum charge of $35.00, but are very economical for large/bulky orders where Australia Post or Aramex are over $50,00 in shipping charges to main city urban areas. We have a 1 hour drive to their depot to ship with E-go and return to our office, so is done ad-hoc and when there is a significant savings over Australia Post or Aramex. One should not expect miracles and only use E-go when time is not critical.

 

Post Charges

Our shopping cart calculates your shipping charge based on the weight and size (volumetrics) of your order. You can go into "MY CART" at any time and see the estimated shipping cost using any of the shipping options available - and play with adding and removing items to maximize on the shipping costs.
The carriers available for you to choose from are: Australia Post using E-Parcel, E-Parcel Express, Regular Satchels, Express Satchels, Aramex Couriers, and E-Go Couriers.
Our cart will also tell you the size box it estimates your order fitting in to, and how much space is left in this box before you bump into another weight bracket, helping you to maximise the bang of your shipping buck.

 

 

Tracking

When your order is sent  you'll automatically be emailed the tracking information. This means you can go onto the Australia Post, Aramex Couriers or E-go website at any time and see where your order is at on it's way to you. You can also find the tracking information in the order details by going into your "My Account".

 

Signature on Delivery

Currently the Aus Post site defaults to Authority to Leave (no signature required, courier will leave the parcel if you are not home). If you want your order to require a signature for delivery, please add a note in the comments and we will be happy to tick the "signature required" box. The same is for Aramex, however it is an additional $1 to require signature for Aramex orders.

 

Packaging

All our orders are dispatched in cardboard cartons. The majority of these cartons are re-used from us having pre-cut fabrics stored in them. We've found dispatching fabric in cartons to be the most effective way of guaranteeing our products arrive to you in perfect condition, 100% of the time.
If there is empty space in a carton - especially if it is being sent with E-Go - we try to pack out the space. This is to prevent the cartons being crushed if they are loaded on the bottom of a load in the truck. We re-use packing material whenever possible for this so it is usually either what the rolls of fabric are shipped to us in, or shredded waste paper.
We offer Australia Post Satchels for postage with no liability for those who want to use this shipping method. We've started using them on requests from our customers, but take no responsibility for these orders after they have left our warehouse because we can't guarantee the safety of our products in them as we do when we send in cartons.

 

Pick Ups

"Pick Up" is offered as a shipping option as you process your order through the shipping cart. You can select to pay cash (only) on pick up, or to prepay with bank deposit or paypal/credit card. Either way you will receive an email when your order is ready to be picked up. The pickup location is the carpark at the Burpengary Train Station - the Burpengary Road/East/Platform 1 side.

 

Faulty, defect, or mis-shipped Items

If you have received the wrong product or faulty goods, contact us via email, within 5 days of receipt of your order. We will work with you to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.

 

Exchanges

If you have changed your mind about your purchase, contact us within 5 days of receipt of your order to arrange an exchange. Items for exchange must be sent back in unused, unwashed, as delivered condition. Odds and ends cannot be exchanged. When returning an item for exchange, you will be asked to:
1- Place another order to the value of the exchange items or greater and pay the difference into our bank account. Credit of returned items shall be less $5 to cover restocking and processing fee. Original and re-shipping postage costs are the responsibility of the customer - no credit will be applied to shipping.
2- Send back the items you wish to exchange, identifying the new order you have placed, to apply credit to. You can find our postal addresses on our Contact Us page here.
3- Upon receiving the returned items, and the balance being paid, exchanges will be shipped.
